The replica of a machine control room of which only a
few elements can be seen though the porthole in a door, is placed in a corner
of the gallery. The part that visitors cannot see conceals a system of mirrors
that make up the simulation of an endless underground tunnel. The image of this
underground passage, together with views of the passageways that exist around
the gallery, appear periodically on two closed-circuit camera screens placed in
the store room transformed, for this event, into an ordinary lobby.

This series of images shown in an unsynchronized loop
interacts with both installations and introduces areas parallel to the centre
of the exhibition, thus considering the place as a network of closed circuits
and dynamic interactions. |
